Miners can mine various metals from Mining nods while traveling in WOW, and then smelt them into Metal Bars needed for Blacksmithing and Engineering.What is WOW Mining good for?Being a gathering profession, WOW Mining is best for making money (selling the herbs in the Auction House) or for picking it up with Blacksmithing or Engineering.Who is WOW Mining advised for? What should be my other profession?1. Leveling characters/ Alts:If you are leveling a character it is highly advised to pick up 2 gathering professions (look at out guide for picking up professions for more info on that). One of them could be Mining.
2. Inscription characters/ Alchemists.
WOW Mining will allow you to gather the mats needed for Blacksmithing and Engineering by yourself, and save a lot of Gold.
