Twin Valkyrs Tactics and strategyThe following page referes to the Twin Valkyrs strategy, part of the Crusader Coliseum raid instance designed for 10 and 25 man.Twin Valkyrs Tactics basics:The Twin Valkyrs Tactics will require you to split your raid group in two in order to kill two joint bosses: Fjola Lightbane and Eydis Darkbane.During the encounter you will be able to absorb either black or white orbs that fly in the room. Absorbing white orbs will increase your DPS against dark targets (Eydis Darkbane) and absorbing black orbs will increase the damage against white targets (Fjola Lightbane) Remember, they both share the same life pool, the DPS split is just so that the raid can benefit the full potential of the orbs. Twin Valkyrs Abilities:The Twins share a lot of their abilities, having a dark and light versions, depending on which boss casts them.Shield of light/ darkness: One of the Valkyrs Twins casts a shield that absorbs 250K damage, and prevents spell interruptions for 15 seconds. Twins pact: Being cast right after Shield of Darkness. Heals 20% of the total health of the twin valkyrs. Dark/ Light vortex (AOE, 8 deconds cast): One of the Valkyrs Twins casts a medium damage (about 6K damage) every second for 5 seconds. Surge of light/ Darkness (AOE): One of the Valkyrs Twins casts a low damage AOE (about 2K) Touch of Darkness/ Light (DoT): One of the Valkyrs Twins casts a heavy damage AOE, (9K every second), but effects only players with an opposite charge. Twin Valkyrs Tactics step by step:Twin Valkyrs Step 1:Spread the raid around the room, splitting the DPS to 2 groups Twin Valkyrs Step 2: Each group touches a portal of the opposite charge of the boss they are trying to kill. Twin Valkyrs Step 3: Pay attention during the fight to orbs that spawn around the room, and collect the ones that are charged the same as you. It will increase a buff counter on you, when it reaches 100 you will gain a boost to DPS for about 15 seconds. Twin Valkyrs Step 4: When there is a warning that either a light or dark vortex is being cast, all the players with the opposite charge need to quickly touch the portal of the color of the vortex to not suffer high damage. Twin Valkyrs Step 5: When one of the valkyrs twins casts shield on itself, all the DPS from the other boss need to switch to it ASAP to burn down the shield and interrupt the heal being cast. 6. Of course make sure when you switch back an forth between bosses to youch the appropriate gate. |
