Hey guys, my name is Jack. Or Venturian, whichever you'd like to prefer. I have been playing a warrior for over three years now, in my time as a warrior I have played mostly Arms PvP and Fury PvE, with a brief moment of tanking in my TBC days. In this guide I will focus on the Talents and stats for the Fury PvE warrior.
I will explain the talents that are manditory, and some talent that you can choose yourself, I will delve into the hit cap, and stats you should be stacking for maximum DPS. Let's start with the talents.
Fury PvE talents.
As the title suggests, this part will focus on the PvE talents for fury, as well as the few points in your arms tree.
The talent build which most warriors, including myself use is a 18/53/0 talent spec, of course there are slightly different versions, but from my experience this build will give you ultimate DPS and Rage Generation.
Mandatory Talents you should get!
Arms:
Improved heroic strike, as Heroic Strike is our main rage dump, it is a good idea to spec into this. The loss of 3 rage cost on Heroic Strike will help with rage management, and DPS.
Impale: 20% extra damage from crits, I don't need to explain why this is awesome.
Deep Wounds: A good portion of your overall damage will come from this talent, a required bleed.
Two Handed Weapon Specialisation: You're using two of these. Of course it's good.
Fury:
Armoured to the teeth: This talent scales nicely with gear, and is a massive boost to your attack power.
Cruelty: 5% crit? Yes please!
Improved Cleave: I'll be honest, this talent IS optional. I like to roll with it to maximise my AoE Damage with whirlwind and thunderclap, but if you'd prefer to use these 3 points elsewhere. Do so.
Commanding Presence: A massive boost to your attack power, which means more DPS.
Dual Wield Specialisation: Yes. Enough said.
Death Wish: It's like a third trinket, when used in conjunction with Bloodlust this is godlike.
Precision: If you have 8% hit from your gear, drop this talent and use the points elsewhere.
Flurry: Overall attack speed increase, you should be critting all the time anyway so this is up permanently.
Intensify Rage: a 33% reduction on the cooldown of 3 of your most important abilities.
Bloodthirst: The best attack for a fury warrior.
Improved Whirlwind: A buff for your second best attack.
Improved Berserker Stance: As well as this stat stacking insanely well with your strength, it also stacks with Blessing of Kings. Get it.
Rampage: A raid buff for 5% extra crit? This is why people love fury warriors nowadays.
Bloodsurge: Our third best attack, never use slam unless this has procced.
Unending Fury: A buff to all of our main attacks? CHYAAAH.
Titan's Grip: ...Damn I love warriors.
Those are the mandatory talents you should have, there is of course room for changing and experimenting yourself, but I wouldn't recommend cutting more than 1-2 of these talents, especially not the best ones.
The hitcap for a fury warrior with precision is 5%, without precision, 8%. Make sure you have enough hit rating to meet this mark, even if it means using hit gems.
Once your at the hitcap, its strength all the way, get strength anywhere and everywhere, to meet the blue gem requirement of your meta socket, use the +Strength +Stam gem, I believe it is purple but I could be wrong.
