I've recently get on that website and I decided to write something about Holy Paladins.
In the beggining I need to say that since I remember Paladins were ALWAYS tank healers, that was always our job to, keep those tanks up all the time ;P
(of course it wasnt good job, cause eveyrtime tank died it was mine fault..)
Holy Paladins have extremly good one target healing :)
I can even say it's best in game :)
Extually i can even say that we have best DOUBLE target healing in game :) cause of Beacon of Light :)
Some good paladins are able to keep up 2 tanks without any problems :>
Few Tips How to heal
5 mans :
Keep Beacon and Sacred Shield on tank, eveytime yuo will have to heal some other party member beacon will heal your tank aswell so you dont have to worry about him :)
Keep Jugdemnt of the light on Primary Target
- you will get 15% haste
- your melle dps will heal by hitting that target :) which will massivly increased your healing :>
Use Holy Shock ONLY in emergency , that spell consume extremly high amount of mana.
If one of your dps overaggro tank
- try to stun that mob
- put Hand of Protection on that dps
If your tank is rotted throw Hand of Freedom on him
Paladins dont have AoE heals, (unless you take Glyph of Holy Light but it's not for true AoE heal) so you must be extra carefull while healing Ppl in 5 mans ;>
10 and 25 mans
Keep Beacon on OFF TANK and Sacred shield on MAIN tank (Off course if you are healing MT :> if not do reverse thing:P)
Spam Flash heal on tank - profit :) , heh maybe not always, but if tank is not getting a lot of spank dmg you can just throw him few Flashes and that's gonna be good, but if you see that you cannot Top tank, start using Holy Light :> cause in other way he ca be dead :P
Remeber after you cast Holy Light, your next is gonna be 0.5 sec faster :)
Talk with Other paladins no matter spec (if you have any) which Judgements they are using it's important to have Jugdement of Wise and Light on Boss 24/7.\
Get Paly Power! With more then 1 Pala in Raid, buffing is extremly... annoying.. ppl are keep whining that they dont have XXX buff or that they prefer ZZZ buff over YYY buff.. something like that..
Keep using your CD's!
I mean not only in soem "oh shit" situations but just.. keep using them :>
Like Divine Ilumination, or Divine Favor, Aura Mastery, or Divine Protecion + Divine Sacrifice Combo if you spec for it, Hand of Sacrifice, those all Cd's are supposed to be used :> Remeber that,
Maybe soemthing about gear..
For true, Paladins dont need Mp/5 or spirit, that's cuase Illumination tallent, every time you crit 30% of mana used on that spell is returning :>
That's why Paladins stack Crit and Haste and Spell power :> Just like caster dps :>
While gemming just go all out for Intellect, it gives you mana, spell power (20% of your intelect turns into spell power) it gives you some amount of crit :) all the stats you reallly need :>

Hit Rating refers to damage that occurs as a result of an attack made with melee, spell or ranged weapons. Basically it reduces the chance to miss with your attack. The chance to hit increases by 1% per 32.79 hit rating points at level 80.
Basicly you need :
(8%=263 Hit Rating) for Two Hand Weapons which are used by following class - Feral Druid, Arms Warriors, Hunters.
So, you are still wearing greenies?
You are getting kicked from even 5 man heroics ?

Basically no one like to have in raid/party anyone with greenies. Fortunately there is a thousand of ways to get rid of those :)
1st. If that's your 1st character you are .... in bad position :) Only what you can do is to craft some gear.
Tailors craft gear for Mages/Locks/Priests
Leatherworkers for Rogues/Druids/Shammie/Hunters
Blacksmither for DK/Wariors/Paladins
Jewelcrafters craft Rings/Necks for everyone.
Obviously you need some materials to make gear.
So Tailor need Cloths, and especially Frostweave Cloths
Leatherworkers need Borean Leathesr
Blacksmither need Saronite Bars.
You will need also some Eternals depends on which piece of gear you want to do. You can get all those materials or by farming them or buying on AH, that’s pretty much your choice.
That’s what you need to do if you are new. But if you have friends already, ask them for help. Ask of force them :> Sometimes asking isn’t enough!
E.g.ToC 5 man normal is very easy instance which gives amazing loot (comparing to drops from quests). And you can do it whole day long until everything drop from there to you Obtaining gear is extremely easy in Woltk.
There is really a lot of options to do that. I’ve just give few examples how to get gear. I’m sure that there is plenty more of it
