Feral tanking!

Because a lot of ppl ask for it I'm gonna to say something about Feral Tanks.

For true it's really easy to tank as Feral, hardest part is to get proper gear for our Teddy Bear; )

Cause of few things

Ferals are not using Defence rating, Parry Rating, and Shield Block Rating.

And unfortunatly a lot of Leather gear is made for rogues (not that much stamina/lack of Dogde on them)

Ferals are Def capped from talents, we cannot use Shield, and  our Paws And Claws cannot Parry any attack :)

But instead of that we have Dogde :> A lot more then other Tanks has :>

Ferals have 3 main tanking skills

Mangle - 6 sec cd- wchich can be reduced to 4.5 sec by talents- Ability which does a decent amount of dmg + increase bleed effects on target by 30%
Lacerate - Bleed which is main skill to produce aggro- is stackable to 5, after you reach it you are using:
Swipe - Ability which Attack all mobs around you great for AoE tanking and if you dont have anything better to do :P

Maul -is ability which does not trigger GCD, is can and SHOULD be spammed all the time - it makes our Melle hits stronger :)\
You can do some Macros if you are to lazy do push it manually (just like I'm doing)
/cast mangle
/cast maul

/cast lacerate
/cast maul

/cast swipe
/cast maul
So everytime you use on of those 3 skills  Maul will be used automaticly :)

So basicly Tanking as Feral can be described something like :
1 mob - Keep Mangle on CD + 5 stacks of Lacerate  then Spam Swipe
Multiply Mobs- Spam Swipe :>

It's really easy :)
Of course you need some experience as in everything but still it's not that hard :)

Feral has some Defensive CD's

Survival Insty- Better now as Last Stand- INcrease your hp by 30% (can be and SHOULD be glyphed so it will give you 45%)

Barskin - Ability which reduces all dmg by 20%

Frenzied Regenartion - Unglyphed preety useless but glyphed powerfull (Increase healing done to you by 30% while it's poped)

Using those skills is essencial to surive, cause some of boss can One shot us, and if we wont Dogde some attacks we are taking full dmg so
it might be a bit deadly for us :)

How to Pull :
Pop Enrage - you will get some Rage from it, then Charge or Run into mobs, (use Swipe on multiply mobs) use Mangle and start spamming Lacerate :)
That's really all, after you stack Lacerate you can go adn watch a movie, make a Sandwich or whatever :P just Keep to refresh it every 15sec ;>

As I said at the beggining gearing up is hardest part of tanking for Feral, Try to Avoid as much as possible gear with Defence/Parry/Block value,
Use gem only for Stamina :)
Have fun tanking :>

Raiding Ratings!

What is Hit Rating?

Hit Rating refers to  damage that occurs as a result of an attack made with melee, spell or ranged weapons. Basically it reduces the chance to miss with your attack.  The chance to hit increases by 1% per 32.79 hit rating points at level 80.

Basicly you need :

(8%=263 Hit Rating)  for Two Hand Weapons which are used by following class - Feral Druid, Arms Warriors, Hunters.

How to Gear up fast.

So, you are still wearing greenies?

You are getting kicked from even 5 man heroics ?

You don’t know what to do? That's a guide just for you :)

Basically no one like to have in raid/party anyone with greenies. Fortunately there is a thousand of ways to get rid of those :)

1st. If that's your 1st character you are .... in bad position :) Only what you can do is to craft some gear.

Tailors craft gear for Mages/Locks/Priests

Leatherworkers for Rogues/Druids/Shammie/Hunters

Blacksmither for DK/Wariors/Paladins

Jewelcrafters craft Rings/Necks for everyone.

Obviously you need some materials to make gear.

So Tailor need Cloths, and especially Frostweave Cloths

Leatherworkers need Borean Leathesr

Blacksmither need Saronite Bars.

You will need also some Eternals depends on which piece of gear you want to do. You can get all those materials or by farming them or buying on AH, that’s pretty much your choice.

That’s what you need to do if you are new. But if you have friends already, ask them for help. Ask of force them :> Sometimes asking isn’t enough!

E.g.ToC 5 man normal is very easy instance which gives amazing loot (comparing to drops from quests). And you can do it whole day long until everything drop from there to you  Obtaining gear is extremely easy in Woltk.

There is really a lot of options to do that. I’ve just give few examples how to get gear. I’m sure that there is plenty more of it 
