With the upcoming of season 8 I thought it will be a good time for a reminder to spend all your hard earned Arena points as they are going to be erased come next season.

Also keep in mind you might want to save up all honor points for PVP Items purchase only after the new season starts and all the current honor rewards get boosted.
 
This week patch 3.3 started downloading, meaning the patch itself is very near (will probably happened sometime in the next 3 weeks), and with it Icecrown Citadel raid instance.

Blizzard released official information regarding the availability of the raid instance, stating that the instance will include 4 wing sections. The first wing will be available with patch 3.3 and the other sections gradually unlocked and be available for play every few weeks. The 4 sections are:

Lower Spire.
For information about specific boss strategies visit: Marrowgar Tactics, Deathwhisper Tactics, Deathbringer Tactics.

The plagueworks:
For information about specific boss strategies visit: Rotface tactics, Festergut tactics, Putricide tactics.

Crimson hall:
For information about specific boss strategies visit: Blood Princes Tactics, Lana'thel Tactics

Frostwing Halls:
For information about specific boss strategies visit: Dreamwalker Tactics, Sindragosa Tactics, Lich King Tactics

Additional released info:
  • Players will not be able to start playing the heroic versions of these boss fights until they have first defeated the Lich King in normal difficulty. That means that no heroic version of any fight will be available for play in the next 2 months or so (at least).
  • In order to be able to fight The lich King you will need to first kill Putricide, Lana'thel and Sindragosa (in the same week). Same applies for the heroic version of the fights.
  • Every week Putricide will be available for only 5 raid attempts. If killed the remaining attempts number will be increased by 10 with Lana'thel and another 15 for Sindragosa and the Lich King. This applies for both normal and heroic difficulties.
 
As the PTR testing of Icecrown Citadel continues I will continue ot update the Icecrown Citadel Tactics page with more info and movies of the PTR encounters.
I also updated the Cataclysm Guide page with new information regarding the new expansion.

Blizzard released a lot of new info on future features:

Cross Realm instancing:

Cross Realm instancing will allow players from different realm to play together in an instance threw the LFG interface. This means players will be directly teleported to the instance (like with BGs) and out of it when they finish.
Players will be able to leave the instance for repairs.
Players will not be able to trade items with groups that compose of multi server players.
If one of the players has Disenchant ability, unwanted loot will be Auto Disenchanted, and distributed directly to the players as disenchant material.

The Random LFG instance system

The Random  LFG instance system will allow cross realm players to queue for a random instance.
New daily quests will award players using the LFG random system to receive extra loot when finishing the random instances.
