Mimiron strategy Basics:Mimiron strategy is one of the most comlex strategies presented in Ulduar.Mimiron is a mechanical robot boss. Mimiron's body is separated into 3 pards at the start of the encounter, you will fight them all one by one and once all 3 die, you will fight them all at once to finish off Mimiron . Below is a PTR movie of Mimiron fight found on YouTube until a Narrated tutorial movie is complete. Below that is the full Mimiron strategy. Mimiron strategy:Mimiron strategy step 1:Kill Leviathan MKII (step to do so below) Leviathan MKII is Mimiron's vehicle (instead of legs). Mimiron strategy step 2: Spread out across the room. Leviathan MKII will put Nplam Shell on random raiders that will first make damage, and then place a 6 seconds AOE on them. Don't move and heal threw that. Mimiron strategy step 3: Every 30 seconds Leviathan MKII will cast either Shock Blast (5 seconds cast AOE) or Plasma Blast (massive attack on the tank). If shock Blast is cast, all melee and tank move away to avoid the damage or they will die. If Plama blast is cast use a CD to avoid tank death and heal immediately. Mimiron strategy step 4: Leviathan MKII is dead, raiders have a few seconds to prepare for VX-001. Put down Fire resist totems if available. Mimiron strategy step 5: VX-001 is Mimiron's torso. It has no aggro, and as long as you avoid his abilities as explained below, you should be fine: VX-001 abilities are: Heat Wave (AoE): Raid Wide low damage attack. Rapid Burst: Medium (3K) damage to random targets. Off Heal spec may need to off heal here ot help get threw the fight. Mimiron strategy step 6: VX-001 will occasionally emote for Spinning up and all raiders should run and stand behind him. VX-001 will then pulse a lazer that will kill raiders in front of him, and then rotate clockwise while bean is active, so raiders should avoid that one. VX-001 Will also place Rocket Strikes on the ground killing raiders on them after 3 seconds if they don't move away from it (a warning red spot will show to indicate where it's going to fall). Mimiron strategy step 7: When VX-001 dies Mimirons head (Aerial Command Unit) will join the fight. It is a range tank boss, and it deals magical damage. Melee should turn to kill the summoned adds of this stage. Mimiron strategy step 8: Assign a ranged class to Tank Mimiron. Kill all the adds (bomb bots etc) that spawn. Pay close attention to the assault bots: they drop electromagments that can be looted and used under the commad unit (Mimiron) to bring it down to the groud. Mimiron strategy step 9: When Mimiron is down on the groud it takes extra damage: turn all DPS to it to brun it, and go back to Adds when it lifts off again. Mimiron strategy step 10: When Aerial Command Unit dies kill all remaining adds and get ready for the last part of the fight. Mimiron strategy step 11: Mimiron will fight will all his 3 body parts at once, spam DPS and Heals to burn him down ASAP. Make sure you kill all the 3 parts approximatly at the same time. |
