Jaraxxus Tactics and strategy

The following page referes to the lord Jaraxxus strategy, part of the Crusader Coliseum raid instance designed for 10 and 25 man.

Jaraxxus tactics basics:

The Jaraxxus tactics focus on Adds control as well as having continues melee interruptions on Jaraxxus. When that is sorted out, the fight becomes a lot easier.

Jaraxxus abilities:

Fel Fireball (2 seconds cast):
Jaraxxus Inflicts Heavey fire damage (about 25K) and aditional 9K/ Second every 1 sec for 5 sec. The DoT portion is dispellable.

Fel Inferno (Channeled AOE, 15 Yard):
Jaraxxus inflicts 3.5K Fire damage.

Fel Lightning (jumps up to 5 targets):
Jaraxxus inflicts about 10K Fire damage.

Fel Streak:
Jaraxxus Inflicts about 8.5K Fire damage.

Incinerate Flesh (Debuff):
Absorbs the next 75K healing received and decreases damage dealt by 50% for 15 sec.  If Incinerate Flesh is not healed threw, it expires after the 15 seconds, and causes fatal damage raid wide.

Legion Flame:
The Legion Flame inflicts 5363 to 5637 Fire damage every 1 sec, also you are creating a Legion Fire every 1 sec for 6 sec.

Infernal Eruption:
Lord Jaraxxus summons Infernals threw a volcano..

Nether Portal:
Lord Jaraxxus summons a portal that spawns the mistress of pain add.

Touch of Jaraxxus:
4K Shadow damage for 12 sec and causes nearby players to be effected by Curse of the Nether. Jaraxxus tactics step by step


Jaraxxus tactics step by step:

Jaraxxus tactics step 1:
Put down fire totems/ auras

Jaraxxus tactics step 2:
Assign a main tank to deal with Jaraxxus and have one ready for his adds.

Jaraxxus tactics step 3:
Pull Jaraxxus to the middle of the room and have your raid spread at least 10 yards apart to avoid extra damage from fel lightning

Jaraxxus tactics step 4:
Interrupt Fel Fireballs whenever possible.
Having competent interrupts in this fight can make a huge difference, and makes the fight so much easier.

Jaraxxus tactics step 5:
If fel fireball goes threw, Dispel the DoT portion of it ASAP.

Jaraxxus tactics step 6:
When Incinerate Flesh is cast on a player heal it ASAP to remove the effect and not let it expire on its own (75 K healing needed)

Jaraxxus tactics step 7:
When Jaraxxus receives a buff called "nether power" have a mage spellsteal it.

Jaraxxus tactics step 8:
When legion flame is cast on a raid member he can stand still and be healed threw the damage (on hard mode you may want the player to run to a safe spot pre-determined to avoid the flame trail AOE portion of the spell)

Jaraxxus tactics step 9:
When mistress of pain spawns (threw a dark portal) have the offtank pick it and have all ranged focus and kill it (interrupting melee should stay on Jaraxxus).

Jaraxxus tactics step 10:
When infernals spawn threw the volcano, have then picked up by the offtank as well.
