How to: Heigan the Unclean strategy for dummies guide (3,000,000 Hit points normal/ 9,270,000 Hit Points heroic).This encounter is not particularly demanding gear wise, it is more a matter of coordination (and good connections will not hurt either, as lags can actually cause raid wipes :\ )The fight will be divided into 2 main phases: Tank and spank phase and a "Dancing" phase, where all DPS stops and the entire raid tries to avoid massive AOE of acid eruptions from the floor. Heigan the Unclean Strategy:1. Tank pulls Heigan while the rest of the raid runs and stands and the platform where Heigan stood before. Heigan has a 30 Yard aura that increases spell cast time by 300%, so Tank should make sure that Heigan is further away then that.The tank starts the "Dance", meaning he keeps pulling Heigan gradually from one end of the room (where the entrance is) to the far end of the room, threw stations 1-2-3-4, and then all the way back, going threw stations 4 -3-2-1. 2. Random player will get a disease called decrepit fever that will do him damage and reduce the health of those around him by 50%. 3. after 90 seconds Heigan will teleport back to the platform, and all the ranged a healers join the tank and start the "Dance" with him. Ranged can not stay on the platform since there will be a powerful AOE on it during this phase. 4. When phase 2 is over, go back to step number 1. Differences between 10 and 25 man version:There aren't any.Tips and Notes:• This encounter does NOT have enrage timer, so don't worry about DPS being too low. Take your time. Staying alive is the key concern in this fight.• When switching between stations, make sure you stand in the center of the piles on the floor, that should minimize the risk of getting caught in the Eruption that gets between the pile cracks on the floor. • Do NOT stop healing people while the raid does the "Dance". It is very tempting for healers to try and pop a heal or two, but that usually ends up with them being distracted and being killed themselves to the AOE eruptions. • On a same note, DPS should NOT try to DPS while they run. • Of course, after you've had this encounter on a grind level and you want to try some risky chances, you're welcomed to go ahead :) Good Luck! |
