How to: Gothik the Harvester strategy for dummies guide (840,000 Hit Points normal/ 2,500,000 Hit Points heroic).Gothik Encounter principle:Gothik the Harvester fight is very fun and entertaining one. It is not really a tanking encounter, as threw out most of the fight Gothik will be invulnerable, and will just keep summoning adds to fight you raid.Twist being the fact that the room when you fight him will be divided to 2 by a door that will automatically close, thus splitting your raid in half. The first half will kill the living mobs that are being unleashed on you. Every mobs that is killed will then transfer to the other side of the room and resurrect there as an undead mob. Key element in this fight is making the groups even in healers, tanks and DPS power (maybe slightly favoring the undead side DPS wise), and communicating between the two sides. If the undead side of the room can't handle the adds they should tell the living side of the room to slow down a bit if possible. Fighting Gothik:After about 4 minutes of fight Gothik himself will enter the fight at one side of the room. You should quickly finish off the remaining adds and tank him down. He will keep transferring between the room, until the last stage where the dividing door will open, and you are able to fight him as a whole raid. You should save your bloodlust to this stage.Gothik himself is a simple tank and spank boss, and he has very low hit points. Tips and Notes:• The most dangerous adds are the Riders because killing them will Spawn both a rider and a horde on the undead side. Make sure to kill those one at a time, and that the undead side kills them before other adds.Good Luck! |
