For discussions on Flame Leviathan strategy visit the Raiding Forum. Flame Leviathan strategy basics:Flame Leviathan strategy is a pure kiting one, as Flame Leviathan changes target every 30 seconds. You will need to destroy towers before approaching him, and make sure you repair before you start the Flame Leviathan.You will have 3 types of vehicles:Salvaged Siege Engine:Heavy vehicles, will be Flame Leviathans' target choice as long as it's up and running. You can Ram to make damage to Flame Leviathan (about 6K damage), Electroshock to interrupt Flame Leviathan (10 seconds cool down ability) or Steam rush to knock back enemies. Use Slavaged Siege Engine as the main "kiter", try to avoid as much damage as possible above all. Sieges can also carry an extra passenger to further DPS Flame Leviathan with Rockets and Cannons. Salvaged Demolisher: This is a medium vehicle. Used mainly for DPS, with hurling boulders, throwing barrels and ramming. Demolishers can also carry passenger to grab ammo and load it (crates), as well use injections to increase the Demolisher speed. Salvaged Chopper: Very light and fast vehicle. Used mainly for placing Tars in front of Flame Leviathan in order to slow him down. Flame Leviathan main abilities:Flame Jet: (AOE):Damages all vehicles in 50 Yards. Can be interrupted by the Siege Engine. Battering Ram: The main reason you're kiting Flame Leviathan. This ability will make Flame Leviathan charge your siege vehicles, and put a debuf on them increasing damage taken by 100%. Gathering Speed: Flame Leviathan will gradually increase it's haste, making it harder and harder to kite him. Rockets: Those will be fired at all vehicles, making small damage on impact. Turrets: Demolishers can launch passengers to use the Overload Circuit ability to stun him and make him take 50% more damage for 10 seconds, as well as reset Flame Leviathans' Gathering speed ability. Flame Leviathan strategy:Flame Leviathan strategy step 1:Use your vehicles to destroy the towers, then make sure to fix your vehicles before Flame Leviathan is engaged, as well as pick up ammo for the fight. Flame Leviathan strategy step 2: Kite Flame Leviathan with Salvaged Siege Engine. Use your abilities to interrupt Flame Jets.
