As long as you keep those in moin, Emalon should not be a hard encounter.Emalon Abilities:Chain Lightning:Emalon will cast Chain Lightning at a player, which will jump to mear by players. Damage is lot at first, and increasing with every jump. By the 3rd jump will probably 1 shot the target. Lighning nove (AOE, long cast time): Emalon will do a lightning nova around him, causing high damage (about 15K) OverCharge: Emalon will OverCharge one his add, increasing his damage dramatically. An over charged add will explode after 20 seconds, and will probably wipe the raid. Emalon TacticsEmalon Tactics step 1:Pull Emalon to one side of the room, Off Tank his adds on the other. Emalon Tactics step 2: Ranged DPS and and healers spread in the room, to prevent chain lightning from jumping and 1 shoting plagyer. Emalon Tactics step 3: Melee keep and eye out for Lightning nova, when it is being cast, back away until it's cast. Emalon Tactics step 4: Whenever an add is overcharged ALL DPS switch to the add and kill it ASAP. If you are geared at NAXX level, it will be a close call and every second counts. Most wipes on this encounter is because DPS underestimate how quickly they need to switch to the add. Emalon Tactics step 5: Go back to step 3 |
