Explanation on the Death Knight Talent Build Choices:
The main Death Knight leveling tree is going to be Blood, while Frost is more of a Tanking spec. The Death knight Leveling spec Is Supposed to have talents that allow the Death Knight to regenerate Health, conserve Rune Power and Rune use, and Maximize the Burst capabilities. Make sure your death knight leveling spec includes these elements.

Death Knight Stats for Leveling
Plate armor can have a lot of different stats on it, so pick your gear pieces carefully.
To power level yourself to 80 you will need to focus on burst damage so you finish quests as soon as possible, and back it up with appropriate leveling spec as mentioned above. Death knights make a great solo character, being a DPS that can use his abilities to self heal (make sure your leveling spec has many healing talents!).
Therefore focus on strength, attack power and Agily on your plate armor pieces, which will enhance your levelign spec. Other stats are less important when talking about death knights leveling builds and death knights leveling specs (opposed to death knight tanking).
