Now that Cataclysm is getting near and more and more videos of the new zones of Cataclysm are released on YouTube from the Cataclysm Alpha, it's nice to watch a video made by blizzard describing the process of making a zone for Cataclysm, from start to finish, as presented in Blizzcon.

Cataclysm Pre-Launch Events

As with any oher expansion of WOW, Cataclysm will have a pre-launch in game event that will move the universe plot forward and ready for the new expansion.
This time it's Zalazane's Fall, and Operation: Gnomeregan (one event for the horde and another for the alliance of course.

In both cases the players will take a part in conquering part of the zone in a massive event, and since it is being tested on the PTRs, movies of the encounter are already available.
