Cataclysm Reputation GuideThis Guide covers the new factions and reputation available in the Cataclysm expansion. If you have no idea what reputation and factions are, please refer to the WoTLK Reputation Guide for beginner's info.Like in WoTLK, Cataclysm factions will offer a tabard, which will allow you to raise your reputation by doing Dungeons and Raids with the tabard on. It is advisable to buy the tabards as soon as you can as there is no rep requirements for them. However, leveling the reputation solely by doing dungeons can take a LOT of time and get boring easily. You are advised to first do all the quests you can in the area of the faction you're trying to raise, to increase your honor as much as possible, until you get "stuck", and continue with the tabard from there. All of Cataclysm reputation faction offer rewards of Item levels 333 (early dungeons level) – 359 (Early raiding level). Guardians of Hyjal: Location: Nordrassil, Mount Myjal, under the world tree (up north). This is a level 78 – 80 zone, so you can start building up rep with this faction very early, and thus offer a lot of lower level rep rewards that may help you in leveling and low level dungeons. The Earthen Ring Location: Vash'Jir, silver tide Hallow, inside a cave, north of shimmering expanse. Ramkahen Location: Uldum, east of obelisk of the stars Dragonmaw (Horde), wildhammer (alliance) both located on the Twilight highlands (levels 84- 85 zone). These two factions offer the same Rep rewards (same stats on the items) just with difeerent names. Therazane Location: Deepholme, Therazens' throne, far north. Therazane is probably the most important Reputation faction in Cataclysm, as it offer unique enchants. Read more on the Therazane Reputation Guide. Baradin Rep (PVP Rep) Location: Hellscreams grasp (horde), Baradin Base camp (alliance), This is a PVP faction, similar to the factions in Wintergrasp for woTLK. You can progress this rep threw daily quests you get in the area, as well as successfully finishing PVP objective in the area. Excpet for PVP gear you can find Mana potions healing potions and other PVP items that work in Tol Barad only The Tabard you can buy at the vendors allows you to portal into Tol Barad Exalted status with this faction will allow you to buy powerful PVP trinkets and special mounts |
