The best WOW Cataclysm Guides

Much like the WOTLK guides, as soon as Cataclysm is released I will purchase and monitor all the Cataclysm Guides in the market and write a complete review to help you find the best Cataclysm guide.

What should you expect from the best Cataclysm guides?

When searching for the best Cataclysm guide I will look for a guide the covers the most important aspects of playing at level 85:

•    How to level fast in Cataclysm to get to level 85 ASAP.
•    How to make gold fast and easy on Cataclysm
•    Tips, trick, strategies and tactics for Cataclysm raiding

WOW Cataclysm release date:

WOW cataclysm does not yet have a release date. In fact, the whole information about the next expansion is still classified a "leaked" info, and will be properly announced by blizzard at the Blizzcon convention.

WOW Cataclysm level Cap:

The new level cap will be 85.

Please visit the Talents section of our WOW Cataclysm guide for more info on specific talents classes will have on the Expansion.

Unlike other expansions, Cataclysm will not offer new talents in a "traditional" way.
The max talent will still be the 51 pointer deep we all know (with, of course, obtaining 5 new talent points 80 to 85). .
However, the whole trees will be revamped, as well as the way Cataclysm talents "function".

Please refer to the Cataclysm Class Changes page for more info on specific Classes

New classes in WOW Cataclysm

WOW Cataclysm will not offer any new classes to wow, but instead will offer the following new race/class combinations:

Human Hunter, Orc Mage, Night Elf Mage, Dwarf Mage, Blood Elf Warrior, Dwarf Shaman, Undead Hunter, Tauren Paladin, Tauren Priest, Gnome Priest, Troll Druid.

New races on WOW Cataclysm

WOW Cataclysm will feature 2 new races available for play:
The Worgen for the alliance and the Goblins for the Horde.

Please refer to the Cataclysm Lore section of the Cataclysm Guide for more info on the background of the races, and the new races page for technical info.

Defining Features for the WOW Cataclysm expansion:

As WOW cataclysm will not feature new continent, the key features will focus on "improving" Azeroth:
  • Enabling flying in Azeroth
  • Revamp of some areas in Azeroth, for both high levels (levels 80 – 85) and low levels. The revamp is supposed to make leveling from levels 1 – 60 a lot faster and easier..
  • Old Dungeons revamp especially for the WOW Cataclysm cap level (85).
  • Opening new zones that have been locked up until now on Azeroth. Please refer to the leveling section of our WOW Cataclysm Guide for more info on these new zones.
  • And of course, introduction of old known NPCs from the Warcraft lore. Please visit the Lore section of the Cataclysm guide for more info.
Please note the Cataclysm Guide will continue to update as time goes by and more info is revealed.

Some information in thie Cataclysm Guide may change according to Blizzard announcments and changes.
