- Yogg Saron has been defeated on hard mode. The extra loot is a flying mount called Mimiron's head, that looks like... Mimiron's head.
- Battleground will award experience, so players will be able to level characters threw PVP.
- Players wishing to not gain Experience at all (Twinking) will be able to turn experience gaining off.
- In addition, players with XP turn off will be matched only against other players with XP turned off, meaning it will be less likely for "twinkers" to be facing "regular" alts.
