Ascendant council Tactics Basics:

The ascendant council is a group of 4 casters, each mastering one elemental school of magic. The first 2 bosses Feludius (Water) and Ignacious (fire) will attack you together on phase 1, and when they get to about 30% health Arion (air) and Terrastra (earth) will join for phase 2, until they drop also. At which point all 4 will form form an Elementium Monstrosity that will do massive AOE damage raidwide. Phase 3 is in fact a massive DPS race.
.
To avoid confusion, I will not refer to the different bosses by their names from now on, but instead refer to them as "earth boss", "fire boss" Etc.

The ascendant council tactics requires you to split your DPS between the bosses and kill them roughly at the same time, as they have powerful attacks that can only be countered by abilities of the other bosses.

Ascendant council main abilities:

Ignacious abilities (Fire Boss):

Leap:
Ignacious will leaps to a random player and then get back to the tank, leaving a trial of fire (AOE) on the ground on the path of the leap.

Rising flame:
Puts a fire shield on himself, that also does massive AOE to the raid, so it needs to be DPSed down.

Feludius abilities (Water Boss) :

Waterlog:
Feludius will randomly Icebolt players and put a debuf on them called waterlog. This will slow the target, and then freeze him when Glaciate hits (see below). The debuf can only be removed by running and standing inside the fire AOE zones that the fire boss generates (The trail of fire where he leaps).

Glaciate:
Raid wide AOE centered on the water boss,  that does less damage the further you are away. This will freeze every player with a waterlog debuf on.

Arion Abilities (Wind boss):

Call Winds:
Arion will summon cyclones in the edges of the room. Stepping inside a cyclone will do medium damage to you, but also lift you up in the air and make you levitate, thus protect you from some of the main attack of the earth boss.

Chain lightning:
a massive damage chain attack (leaps between players).

Thundershock:
Massive raid wide AOE. Can be reduced in damage for players that are under the Debuff of the Earth boss (read below).

Disperse:
Arion will dissolve and appear somewhere else in the room, and then do a massive damage attack on the tank.

Terrastra (earth boss):

Gravity well:
Looks like void zones on the ground. They will pull you inside them and put the "grounded' debuf on you, that will also protect you from the Thundershock damage of Arion. They also do medium damage over time.

Quake :
Massive raid wide AOE. You need to run into one of the tornados that float in the edges of the room, this will create a cyclone beneath your feet that will make you levitate, and avoid the damage (you can still move and perform actions on top of a cyclone).

Ground spike:
regular AOE, nothing special, get out of the area when you see the dust coming out of the floor.

Earth shield:
Terrastra will sometimes put an earth shield to absorb damage on herself. Just DPS is down and when it is consumed it will cause high damage.

Ascendant council Tactics step by step:

Ascendant Council Tactics step 1:
Assign 2 tanks, one for the water boss, and the other to the fire boss.
These will be your first 2 bosses.

Ascendant Council Tactics step 2:
Split the DPS between the 2 bosses, ideally melee will be on the fire boss and ranged on the water boss.

Ascendant Council Tactics step 3:
Position the Ranged group somewhere in the middle of the room, and the bosses near opposing walls, but not too far away form each other, so it's easy for melee to jump in the fire after they've been water logged

Ascendant Council Tactics step 4:
When a player gets water logged quickly step inside the flames the fire boss leaves on the ground when he leaps.

Ascendant Council Tactics step 5:
When the bosses drop down to about 30% phase 2 will start, and you will face the wind and earth bosses.

Ascendant Council Tactics step 6:
Save DPS Cooldowns for phase 3

Ascendant Council Tactics step 7:
When you will see a yellow marker above a player, it means that player is going to get chain lightning. The player with the marker needs to get away from the raid, and others need to get away from him as well.

Ascendant Council Tactics step 8:
When earth boss starts casting quake have the raid quickly enter a tornado to levitate.

Ascendant Council Tactics step 9:
When a Thundershock is cast, quickly have the raid step inside a void zone for the "grounded" debuf. Healers should be ready for massive AOE healing.

Ascendant Council Tactics step 10:
When Arion casts Disperse healers get ready for a massive damage attack on the tank.

Ascendant Council Tactics step 11:
When they drop on health, Phase 3 will start. All the bosses will join to form an Elementium Monstrosity that does high AOE damage raid wide

Ascendant Council Tactics step 12:
Kite the Elementium around the edges of the room and get out of AOE attacks on the ground.

Ascendant Council Tactics step 13:

This is a DPS race, use all CDs and finish him.
